Next row (WS) Cast on 14 sts for front band and work 1 garter st, p13, cont in St st to end of row.
Next row (RS) K to last 14 sts, work 6 sts in St st, sl next st purlwise, work 6 sts in St st, work last st in garter st for selvage st. Cont as established until piece measures 2.2″/6cm from beg. Work hem as for back on first 59 (63, 66) sts, work last 14 sts as established. Change to larger needles and work as foll:
Next row (RS) Work 59 (63, 66) sts in k5, p2 rib and stripe pat as for back, ending with p2, (k4, p2), work next 14 sts for front band until same length as back to armhole. Work armhole shaping at side edge (beg of RS rows) as for back, AT SAME TIME, when armhole measures 1″/2.5cm, end with a WS row and work as foll: Cont with rest of pattern.

Cap shaping should read: Cap shaping Bind off 5 (5, 6, 6, 6, 6) sts at beg of next 2 rows. Dec 1 st each side on next row, then every row 9 times more. Bind off rem 40 (42, 40, 43, 47, 50) sts on next RS row.

Next row (WS) Same as row 2 of pat st. Cont to rep rows 1 and 2 of pat st to next dec. Alternate these 2 rows. Remember that the slipped sts alternate every other row.
