2 (1.74oz/50g) hanks of Silk Blend Semi Solids by Manos del Uruguay/Fairmount Fibers, Ltd., each approx 150yd/137m (wool/silk) are needed to make this cowl.

The gauge over plain garter st should be 16 sts to 4 inches. When the cozy is knitted, the pattern will cause the pleats to form, and then the gauge should measure 44 sts to 4 inches.
